A gorgeous, moving CD by one of the most remarkable singers of our day. Countertenor Yoshikazu Mera has a voice of delicate, other-worldly beauty and the most natural and sensitive musical instinct, which here are equalled or surpassed by his lyrical artistry and emotional depth. The all-Bach selections make for a coherent program, though on the sad and serious side due to the preponderance of minor keys. This is a must-buy, and thanks to Amazon for carrying it ....
