Johnny Tillotson was a teen sensation who started with Cadence Records in 1958. He scored one hit after another with "Poetry in Motion" the biggest song of his career. This disc features those Cadence hits and some great tunes from his MGM records of the mid 60's. Johnny wrote the country classic "It keeps right on a hurtin'" which was a hit in the 80's by Billy Joe Royal. The music sounds better than ever on compact disc.
