I found out about Jim Gill CDs by taking my son to a music class for kids. They played songs from this particular CD, and I thought they were great, so I bought it. My 2 yr old loves the music, and loves doing the moves along with the songs.
***Just came back to add to my review that we are still listening to this CD 3 YEARS later!! My now 5 yr old and his little sister who is 2 absolutely LOVE this CD. We listen to it in the car, and also bring it inside so we can dance to the music and do the interactions suggested in the song. This is definitely one of the best kids CD's out there. We also like the Jim Gill Irrational Anthem one.

I bought this because a few of the music classes that I take my kids to play the "Alabama Mississippi" song and they absolutely love it. Its so fun to see them singing and dancing around!

I LOVE THIS CD!! As an early childhood educator, this cd is my absolute favorite!! It's an oldy, but goody! The songs are fun and silly and include movements that the kids love! I had this years ago on cassette, and just recently found this on cd and my class loves it! All of the songs are wonderful!!

A lot of rythm, very silly songs that make you want to dance, move and goof around.
The best CD from Jim GILL

Really enjoyed the music on this CD. Both my 1 year old and my 3 year old like the songs. Not to mention I've caught my husband humming them a few times.

My kids and I love this. Far superior to the "canned" music. Great vocals, instrumentation, and creative and fun lyrics. The traditional Russian folk song is a great bonus as well.

Silly songs that the kids love. While not really "educational" in the sense of, say, the CDs by They Might Be Giants, the songs do encourage the kids to be interactive. These songs truly are "contagious."

Highly recommended.

This is such a fun CD for young children. The songs are silly and create opportunities for fun movements and lots of laughs.

My kids love this CD. My 4-year-old sings along with the songs, and points out which lines are particularly silly. My 18-month-old bobs along to the rythm. Mom & Dad will recognize at least 1 song as a cover. Overall, the style is very easy on mom and dad - not annoying like many kids' CDs. This CD is great to use for indoor activity time - kids can act out some of the songs.

My 2 year old and 6 year old love this CD. They ask to listen to it often. The music is fun and always gets them up and moving with lots of suggestions from Jim Gill for dancing, spinning, sneezing, etc. The music is catchy and pleasant enough for adults to listen to.
