JADED HEART has a rebirth !
With a more metal sound vs the traditional AOR/Hard Rock sound, but with the big chorus/hooks and the traditional melodic lines !it's still a good CD worth checking for melodic metal lovers....Buy it

This is seriosuly amazing melodic rock/metal album. BIG choruses, excellent guitar work, fantastic keyboards, soaring vocals and heavy bass and drums. It's quite addictive as the reviewer above states.
Sinister Mind the track is music perfection. Buy and be happy!

Killer melodic hard rock album,

This review is from: Sinister Mind (Audio CD)
I hadn't really been paying attention to what German melodic rockers Jaded Heart was up to since original vocalist Michael Bormann left the band, but I decided to give their latest album - 2007's Sinister Mind - a try. I'm glad I did.
Beyond the change in vocalists, the main thing that jumped out at me when I first listened to Sinister Mind was the overall heaviness of the band's sound. That's something you didn't hear much of on albums like Inside Out and Slaves & Masters. The songs are still very melodic, but they definitely have a heavier edge not unlike Pink Cream 69. This heavier sound works very well with Johan Fahlberg's vocal style. I was surprised to find that I actually prefer Fahlberg to Bormann. His voice is steadier and less abrasive, and still packs plenty of punch. To my ears, this is a new and improved Jaded Heart. You get the same great melodies and killer hooks, but with a harder hitting edge and a powerful new voice. I have no problem recommending Sinister Mind to fans of the older Jaded Heart albums and to melodic hard rock fans in general. Anyone who enjoys bands like Pink Cream 69, Bonfire, Pretty Maids, Chalice, Axxis, and Jorn should love the newer, heavier Jaded Heart sound.
