A young couple accidentally comes upon a group of men meeting secretly in a deserted farm house late at night. Seeking the purpose of this apparent clandestine gathering, the young man enlists the aid of a life time friend. Together they discover that prominent business men, disgruntled with government regulations, restrictions and control, are taking drastic action. A former Federal employee was discharged just prior to his retirement, losing his pension and all benefits; he works with the group bringing needed inside information. Follow the youthful patriotic amateur detectives as they gather sufficient evidence to thwart the sinister plot.

Hub Broyles hails from WV; served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II; graduated Western Michigan University with a BS degree in Business Management and Psychology. As an FBI agent assigned to Quantico, VA, Boston, MA, Newark, NJ, Washington, DC, and Los Angeles, CA, he retired in ‘75; a R. E. Broker, he also did background checks for a major security service. He has been writing since 1998 and has had five novels published to date. As A Sinister Plot comes to you, he has started novel seven.
