Porter Hall Tennessee are one of the best American Bands out there today. THIS IS HOW COUNTRY MUSIC SHOULD SOUND! If you haven't heard them I would say they remind me a lot of X (The legendary 80's L.A. band) with an old school country sound mixed in for good measure. For those of you who know who X are this is a very high compliment. And Porter Hall Tennessee lives up to that lofty comparison. I highly recommend this CD as well as their first S/T CD. Also, do yourself a favor and see them live. They are so great live that I don't even know what to say. Just see them if you can, you won't be dissapointed.

Oh, I love them so much, they are such great singers & they can do some dancing too when they want. You should buy this CD for yourself then buy a copy for you're friend then too as well!!!!!! What ever you think of music from the America, do yourself another favor and buying their new CD so they can pay the rent & maybe get a steak. When they sing together on the title track & maybe some others. THis record coming on the vinyl records format soon we hope? Also look for they're rare early album "BLUE PILLS" featuring Tom Thaxter, for great mix of WHITE LINES.
