Absorbing and Heart Touching,
By Mrs. Rose (Alexandria, La. USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Sins Of Boggy Creek (Paperback)
I cannot say enough about this book by a new author(this is her second book, which I also enjoyed, The Morning of the White Stone)The character of Matthew epitomizes what is good and noble in man. The struggle between the God given conscience and the lust of the flesh is portrayed through the various inhabitants of the town of Boggy Creek. Although set in another era, the choices faced by each of the characters are the same choices facing all of us today. The redemption of the town drunk and the secret past of the fallen women will surely surprise the reader. The skill with which the author weaves the various plots into the main fabric of the story makes for a truly interesting read. I would recommend this book, even for young people, for it is romantic without being offensive and holds the attention without the use of vulgarity. I loved it!
