About the Author

Anna Rose is a longtime lover of all things science fiction and fantasy. She got into vampires when she was a kid, watching the original Dark Shadows soap opera in the early 1970's, and getting it bad for Barnabas Collins, bad hair and all. She fell instantly in love with all things paranormal and became an absolutely rabid reader and writer. Over the years, Anna wrote reams and reams of stories, but never really did anything with them, and eventually these were lost in one way or another. (Consider this an excellent reason to use a word processing program and to constantly back up your work) It wasn't until relatively recently, with the support of friends who knew she could write and write well, that Anna started writing "Siofra" (on a computer this time) and then got it published. Anna lives in California and shares her life with her daughter, two small but very loyal dogs and two fairly indifferent cats. She is currently working on the sequel to "Siofra" and "Fiach Fola", "Droch Fola". It is scheduled to be released in late Spring of 2013.

More About the Author

Anna Rose is a longtime lover of all things science fiction and fantasy. She got into vampires when she was a kid, watching the original Dark Shadows soap opera in the early 1970's, and getting it bad for Barnabas Collins, bad hair and all.

She fell instantly in love with all things paranormal and became an absolutely rabid reader and writer, filling spiral notebooks with pages upon pages of her stories that eventually were lost. With the advent of computers and electronic storage, however, things changed for Anna.

Right now, it seems that most vampire fiction out there is peopled with self-loathing vampires looking for a cure for their "curse", or whose stories conclude in a romance with the one human who will either love them for who they are, or who, somehow, is able to "save" them from their vampiric existence. Knowing that she couldn't be the only person out there looking for something where the vampiric main character was comfortable just as they were and wasn't looking for love, Anna Rose began writing the Sumaire Web series of novels.

Anna lives in California and shares her life with her daughter, two small but very loyal dogs and two fairly indifferent cats.

She is currently working on a new novel "Fáolán", bringing something new to the world of vampire fiction. At this time, her three novels, "Siofra", "Fiach Fola" and "Droch Fola" are available, as well as her related short story "Féasta Fola".

Format: Paperback
Totally hooked on theses stories. I have never been able to get into Sci-fiction books for one reason or another. Probably because there always damsels up for slaughter or some mega bitch who slashes everything and everybody which isn't my thing. For once there is a strong woman who kills when she has too but not just anyone. She picky. Find out how and why when you read the story.
