A "must have" for period potable makers,

This review is from: A Sip Through Time: A Collection Of Old Brewing Recipes (Paperback)
Cindy Renfrow has compiled a thorough presentation of period and somewhat out of period recipies for brewers of medieval beverages. She does a great job referencing each recipe and includes a helpful glossary of terms, as well as a lengthy list of herbs and fruits found in those recipes. If you are a mead maker, this is a great reference book to have in your library. I highly recommend this for brewers in the SCA or other reenactors of this time period.

The author includes cautions and historical notes about recipes. I am just entering the brewing field and this book is providing insight into how I may change my ingredients of mead or cider. This is a great reference book and well worth the cost.

Very short beer section, not worth it.Author copied old world recipes from other books and tossed in very few comments. More translation of ancient measurements would have helped.
