I also posted this review for Starlight, which is the set I bought...VERY HAPILLY.
I was so excited and couldn't wait for the new Wendy Bellissimo line at Babies R Us. I even put off my purchase til the 11th hour until it was available. That's why I was saddened and discouraged to read the bad reviews on this item. I then went into Babies R Us to buy something else and looked at the Wendy line for myself. IT IS EXQUISITE!!! Stars may not be "symmetrical" but that is clearly the character of the design. The chenille is the SOFTEST I have seen. I am so happy I decided to look at it for myself! Make sure you do too. Don't let whoever writes these bad reviews ruin your baby experience out of their own selfishness. GO SEE IT. And if you can't get to a store I highly recommend ordering it. After all, if you don't like it...just return it.

I ordered the Sirleapsalot set as soon as I found out I was having a girl. Although the set may look like the chenille is blue on the screen, the description clearly states that it is lavender. I ordered the 5-piece set, lamp, diaper stacker and valance. I was very pleased when it arrived. The blanket and crib sheet are super soft. The bumpers are made of a heavier fabric that will stand up to a baby pulling on them and going through the washing machine. I really like the fact that the bumper slipcovers zip off of the inner pillow for washing. The stitching and embroidery seems to be of good quality. Also, the lamp was larger than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The set is great for a girl without being too frilly. All things considered, I am glad I made this purchase.

Although the Wendy Bellissimo line came out too late for us, I am already planning turning my son's nursery into a double for the next child. The Wendy Bellissimo line corresponds well with our Pottery Barn Kids bedding, and the colors I chose for my son's nursery which is how it got my interest. The quality of the fabric in person is beautiful, soft, and rich. Those who gave it low ratings have instead suggested some very low quality bedding that, quite frankly, does not compare on any level. And the fact that many of the items are slipcovered is a huge plus. My PBK bumpers are not. I contacted the Wendy Bellissimo company to find out what they were using different in the bedding to bring the prices down. They responded saying that this is the same fabric and bedding that was sold under the Bellissimo line before, but because of a partnership with BRU are able to sell it at a much lower price. Obviously, this is true in any case. You're going to make more selling at a mass retailer at an affordable price, than at a boutique not many can afford. This being said, lets face that this isn't the same very custom bedding that she did for top celebrities, and isn't using velvet in her BRU collections! I, a very particular shopper, plan on considering this line for my next child's bedding, and am looking forward to the Moses Basket, and the rugs that I've heard will be coming out. I hope this helps clear up some of the quality issues some people are having.

I've been a big fan of Wendy Bellissimo and bought a crib set from her line for my first child. I had intended on purchasing a second set for the child I'm expecting, but unfortunately she quit offering the custom designed products and instead started making mass-produced, cheaper items in only four different patterns. While the quality of these sets is better than the other sets you'd find at Babies r' us, it's not even close to the old Wendy Bellissimo standard and I'm hugely disappointed.

After reading some of the reviews on-line, I was discouraged about purchasing Wendy Bellissimo. However, I had fallen in love with this frog set after viewing it on-line so I decided to drive to Babies R Us (which wasn't exactly close by) and saw all the Wendy Bellissimo product in the store. I am so glad I went to the store and didn't listen to the other reviews because I was even more impressed with the product after seeing it in person. The fabrics are all so soft and everything is slipcovered. None of the other crib sets I was looking at had slipcovers on them. I decided to buy most of the accessories while I was there and will tell all my pregnant friends to go to the store to look at the Wendy Bellissimo collections themselves.

I just registered for the Wendy Bellissimo Sir Leapsalot collection because I love frogs. The prince frog and the princess frog are adorable. The colors and the quality of the entire line are exceptional. I love that everything is slipcovered. I registered for the crib collection and pretty much all of the accessories and can't wait to start decorating my nursery. I had been looking everywhere for the perfect nursery decor and finally found it at babies r us with the Wendy Bellissimo line.

I just purchased the Starlight set, but I had planned to purchase Sir Leapsalot (painted my nursery to match the Starlight stuff, which looked like it color coordinated with Sir Leapsalot). What may look to you like blue in the online pictures is actually lavender - very disappointing to me. Word to the wise - check out the colors in person before you buy. The quality of the products, however, is much nicer than the babies r us sets.

I just purchased this Sir Leapsalot set from the babies r us store near us and absolutely love it!! I showed it off to all my girlfriends and they agree, if you are having a girl but don't want to go with a pink nursery, this is the collection for you. The frogs are so cute, but the nice thing is that they are not overly used throughout all the accessories. I would most definitely recommend this product.

I was a little nervous about getting this set at first. I LOVED the way it looked, but was concerned b/c it is rather pricey and I had read that it didn't wash very well. I'm glad I went with my gut and decided to get it. I washed it according to directions and had absolutly no problems at all. It looks gorgeous in my daughter's room! I'm not a pink girl, nor do I go for a lot of ruffles, so this set was perfect. I get TONS of compliments on it! The quality really is much better than a lot of stuff out there!

I couldn't believe I found the Sir Leapsalot set at Babies R Us. My sister bought this same exact set 6 years ago from a small retailer in her area. I fell in love with it then, but when she told me how much she paid for it...let's just say I knew when I had a baby, I wasn't going to be able to afford a Wendy Bellissimo collection. Which is why I was shocked when I found the same exact Wendy Bellissimo collection at Babies R Us, for about half of what my sister paid for her collection. We compared the two sets and they are identical. Now my sister is jealous that I have the same crib collection and paid so much less. Plus, I've been able to register for all the great accessories. Thank you Wendy Bellissimo and Babies R Us.
