4.0 out of 5 stars Lot's of cool content, not a lot of story
This is a great DVD for a Mix-A-Lot fan. It has possibly every music video he's done, unedited. There is a bunch of video from a concert he did too. Show's off some of his new style. There's a little commentary here and there to make it interesting. Don't expect his life story though, it's mainly about the music, which is great.

3.0 out of 5 stars An average offering, but better than nothing.
This is an ok DVD for Sir Mix-A-Lot fans, but not as good as it could have been. While there is some fairly interesting interviews with Mix and others, to much of this DVD is taken up showing groupies, (and rather nasty looking ones at that) exposing themselves at concerts and doing other fairly ummentionable things. This review is from: Sir Mix-A-Lot - Shhhh... Don't Tell 'Em That (DVD)
Another minus is the quality of the videos themselves, as it is very obvious no restoration has been done whatsoever. The videos look like they have been recorded off of an old VHS tape. Infact, "One Times Got no Case" and "Swap Meet Louie" for example, have literally been recorded off of Mix-A-Lots old VHS video collection tape "Maconomics". Another big minus is the fact that the re-mix video of "Baby Got Back is NOT on this DVD. It's not a terrible collection, (The uncensored "Put em' on the glass" is here for those who are curious, though I personally hated both the video and song), just not a great one. I would still recommend picking this up if you like Sir Mix-A-Lot, but mostly for the fact that there is nothing else available in the DVD format.
