5.0 out of 5 stars Must-read for every mother of a son
I picked up this book at the library and now plan to buy it. It's a wonderful story of a little boy's incredible imagination. It's the kind of story that inspires creativity and the enjoyment of the simple lifestyle uncluttered by electronics and scheduled playdates. It's sure to become a favorite of all who read it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Terrific book New - but sadly the cover was ripped . .
I was very disappointed when I received this book because it had a rip on the front cover. It was a new book as the shipper had indicated but the cover was torn.

This beautiful story took me back to the days when my son was little. His imagination took me to many, "places,' through his play. I was so fortunate to be included in his adventures without even leaving our home.
This book was so wonderfully written and illustrated. It made me laugh, cry, and treasure the memories of those days gone by.
The author and illustrator has a special talent of capturing how a child sees the world and explores it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!, September 5, 2011
This review is from: Sir Ryan's Quest (Hardcover)
We found this book just yesterday, and have read it just about 8 times already! Our son loves it! He said, "look mom, this kid does just what I do...he pretends!" There aren't enough books about kids who use their imaginations to pretend play. Our son does this all the time, so I'm glad there is finally a book that shows him there are other kids out there just like him. I'm hoping there are many more books to come from Jason Deeble.

5.0 out of 5 stars Talented Writer and Illustrator - hope to see more from him!, February 26, 2012

This review is from: Sir Ryan's Quest (Hardcover)
I learned about Sir Ryan's Quest from our local elementary school. They were having a meet the author day at the school as he actually lives a couple of towns over. He spent a couple of days at the school visiting with classrooms and then also had a really energetic and fun meet and greet with parents and more kids one night after school. What a dynamic guy! His passion for stories, creativity and drawings comes through in his personality and in his story of the young Sir Ryan. This is Mr. Deeble's first published work but I hope the publishing industry takes note and hooks him up with a few more books. Fantastic and endearing book! My son was so impressed to actually meet an author and I hope this continues to inspire my little reader to continue his own writing pursuits. He is 8 and already has mini journals of writings and drawings EVERYWHERE! In summary - this is a very cute story about 'what little boys do'. The whole family enjoyed it.

This book is fun! It's about a boy with this great imagination, going thru his house on a "quest". It reminded me of my son, so I bought it for him. He loves it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sir Ryan's Quest, May 15, 2009
This review is from: Sir Ryan's Quest (Hardcover)
Sir Ryan's Quest is a wonderful children's book. My grandgirls enjoyed the story, and the illustrations were adorable. I would recommend this book for any childs reading list. Jason's first book is wonderful, and shows the joy of letting a child use their imagination. Hopefully more stories will follow.
