I already had the XM Onyx car kit that I had been using for a year. I bought this docking speaker as i wanted to be able to listen at my office as well. I simply pulled the Onyx device from the car and set it in the dock after plugging in the dock and the included antenna. Turned on the power and was up and running. Great docking system and love having the SiriusXM option indoors.

Yes. You need to read instructions to be able to use all of the functions.

Yes - I believe so. It comes with a series of adapters to fit different receivers.

Yeah, it's a pressure sensitive switch at the top. The volume control, aux in, and power are all at the top. It's a little like an iPhone screen.

Check Sirius, but their web site seems to indicate yes.

It comes with three docking adapters: One for Sirius, one for XM, and one for XM3pi. You just install the one you want. I kept the others around, in case I upgraded.

My receiver isn't chargeable, so I do not know. The station plugs in or uses regular batteries.
