I was pleasantly surprised by this shredder. It is not meant for heavy use but has stood up under the stress of reorganizing my home office. It is good value for money. It's not mentioned on the instructions but the light sensor located in the middle of the top where there is a little notch needs to be cleaned now and then to keep it from running continuously. I use a cotton swab with a little alcohol.

All around, this shredder is okay. Not super, not really bad. One flaw it has (less than one month after I received it) is that the AUTO shred feature does not work. It just runs without stopping, even if there is no paper in front of the sensor. I have to actually turn it on and off. It is definitely not quiet, and the paper pieces are a little bigger than I was expecting. I also noticed a small crack in the housing on the bottom by one of the screws. I hope that doesn't become a problem later. Other than that, it gets the job done.

The first shredder I got crapped out on me after 3 weeks, I was so disappointed as I researched this shredder and thought it sounded the best for the price and my needs. It claims to shred a max of 8 sheets, thats a lie. It actually only shreds about 4 sheets at a time. Our first shredder died when we put 2 sheets in. I contacted Amazon and told them of our experience and they handled the situation beautifully. I had another shredder within a few days, no questions asked. Now that's customer service!! It is the same brand and model that had broken but now I'm more informed on how to deal with this machine, I never put more than 4 sheets in at a time.

I guess technically this shredder will handle 8 sheets, but it doesn't like it. When you stick 6-8 sheets of paper in the shredder at one time the motor sounds like it's going to seize.
This shredder is perfect for throwing one piece of junk mail in at a time, but not for shredding a lot of paper.

I just got this shredder, plugged it in and it runs continually in auto feed. I do not want to have to turn it off and on as I need to shred. That is a main feature I need in a shredder. I don't mind the noise and the shredding is actually good, but I can't have it run continually. I need to just be able to drop pieces in it here and there as I go through my paperwork without having to switch it on and off each time. I even tried to clean the sensor and that didn't work either. I don't even want a replacement, I plan on getting another brand. I wouldn't even rate this one star as it should come out of the box working correctly, but Amazon would not let me rate any lower.

This works so well. I like that it makes little pieces instead of strips. It's a little loud but it works great.

The paper shredder was received with a dent on the front. I used it and it quickly got too hot from use. It just wasn't the product I needed.

Within weeks of my purchase, the product failed. When switched to the 'auto' position, the motor cycles continuously. I contacted Sisco and they have been uncooperative. They are essentially denying that their product has failed. They want me to ship the product to them at my expense; they will then decide if it is broken. They agreed to send me an email with their return terms, but they have not sent those terms to me. Their one-year warranty is an empty promise!

This item was just what I needed to add to home security--not too large--but does everything the site says. And it was shipped in great conditon quickly!

I've had this shredder for 2 years now and it is still ticking. Only anoying thing is that the teeth clog up easily and are difficult to clean out. But it still shreds even when it's fairly clogged.
