5.0 out of 5 stars Sistah's: Play or Film?, May 4, 2008

This review is from: Sistahs (Playwrights Canada Press) (Paperback)
I have always followed the career of Sharon M Lewis but Ms. Bailey is new to me. Her talent continues to amaze me. So, when I learned about the play Sistahs, co written with Maxine Bailey, I wanted to read it. I would love to ask the writers whether they see their work as a play or a movie? I see a movie here! The storyline is fresh and unique; the relationships these characters share is warm and refreshing; close but not without the struggles women face in every day life. In fact the play is so beautifully and sensitivly written that I kinda want a sequel!!! Ms. Lewis and/or Ms. Bailey-Film or play????
