Sister Golden Hair by America is a classic from the mid 1970's. Gerry Beckley wrote and sings lead on the song. It was released in 1975 and quickly moved up the charts in the US. It peaked at number 1 on both the Billboard and Radio & Records singles chart, 2 on the Cashbox singles chart, and number 5 on the Adult Contemporary chart.
It was produced by legendary Beatles producer, Sir George Martin. |
