4.0 out of 5 stars Not the strongest Letters to Cleo CD...
I have all the LTC CD's and I am a HUGE FAN. I believe that each CD LTC comes out with the stronger they become. This I believe is the weakest LTC CD, but it is still good. They sound younger and slower. In some of their later work I believe they played well together within the band. This CD is great, but if I had to pick a LTC CD, it Sister wouldn't be my first...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not at all the same
If you liked the sound of Letters To Cleo on "Ten things I hate about you" then you probably wont like this CD. Kay (lead singer) sounds a lot different and nothing like she does in 10 things. If you want a CD by Letters To Cleo, I recamend GO! It's WAY better because its more recent and she sounds just like in 10 things. =)

4.0 out of 5 stars as always, ltc delivers, December 4, 1998
This review is from: Sister (Audio CD)
i've been listening to letters to cleo for some time now, and i enjoyed Sister just as much as their previous albums. But even if you're not an ltc fan, there's always this excitement and energy to their sound. Sister is a re-release of their first EP, plus (I think) some added B-sides. The first song is "I see", which is an earlier version of the one you hear on Aurora Gory Alice. It's weird because its the same, but it's different. There's some serious songs, and there's some with the same level of energy and good vibe that give LTC their sound. The album closes with Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams," which sounds cool. Nothing drastically different about it, but just a new twist on an old song.

i definitely think an ltc fan would appreciate this album more, but i would recommend buying it to anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!!, October 10, 1999
By A Customer

I bought this CD after loving the LTC songs that are on the "10 things I hate about you" soundtrack. I don't think I had heard much about them before because I live in the UK and LTC aren't really very big / known at all over here. I've ordered "Go!" and really love the samples I have heard on Amazon so I cant wait! After I've got Go! I'm gonna buy "Wholesale Meats and Fish".
I'm an official fan!

Anyone know where I can get hold of a LTC Poster?

This is such a good example of early 90's alternative rock! I love this cd and hope that you get it in so that others can buy it. It has outstanding vocals by Kay and the instrumentals that the rest of the band provide are, as always, incredible!

When I first got this cd I listened to it once and that was it for a few years. At first it didnt grab me like the rest of the LTC cd's, but a few years and millions listens later I really like it. I think its as solid as the rest of their stuff. Seems a bit more mature to me.
