Betty Neels is the best!,

This review is from: Sister Peters in Amsterdam (Best of Betty Neels) (Mass Market Paperback)
If you're looking for an uncomplicated, simple and humrous romance, Betty Neels is the writer for you. Unfortunately, she passed away a few years ago, but she's left behind a treasure. Sister Peters in Amsterdam is only the beginning of a collection of over 100 books that put a smile on your face every time.

This review is from: Sister Peters in Amsterdam (Best of Betty Neels) (Mass Market Paperback)
Book Description: Sister Adelaide Peters was surprised, but also very proud and excited, to have been chosen to represent her hospital in a new exchange scheme. It meant she'd be spending a year in Holland. Adelaide was determined to do her best, and she more than succeeded! She adored Holland, liked her colleagues and even mastered some of the language. She also unexpectedly -- and disastrously -- fell in love with her new boss. But Professor Coenraad van Essen was clearly out of her league.Listed as her first of over one hundred romances, this is a light, enjoyable quick read. Coenraad and Adelaide appear in "Visiting Consultant"; they are friends of Maximilan van Oosterwelde. Coenraad and Adelaide appear in "Stars Through The Mist"; they are friends of Gerard van Doorninck.
