This album may be short, but it is definitely worth everybit you spend.

Man, I'm going to be perfectly straight with you about this cd. I read about the trio in Spin or something when they were just coming up. Whoever wrote the review raved about them so I bought the cd and didn't think it was that great.

I put it away.

About a year later I got it back out and actually *listened* to it and it has been one of my favorites ever since. The Billy White Trio is great for several reasons. First off, they are each outstanding musicians. Billy's a great guitarist and he's not only a skilled singer, but he was blessed with a totally cool sounding voice. The bassist and the drummer are about as tight as you can get without being Soul Coughing (and let's face it, no one is as tight as Soul Coughing). Still, the best part is that the songs are just downright good. I mean, they are all really good songs...well written, solid.

This disk not expensive. Order it with something else so you don't spend any extra on shipping. If you don't like it then put it up for a month and come back. If you still don't like it, then you only lost a few bucks...but I can tell you right now that the amount of enjoyment I've gotten from this EP is worth more than what I paid for it.

I really respect this band and I fully enjoy this cd.
