A Preview, Rather than a Story,

This review is from: Sister Wendy's Story of Painting: The Age of Revolution [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This 60 minute video is divided between "The Age of Revolution" and "The Impressionists" allowing little time for depth of detail for either. Sister Wendy gives an overview of each period and details some paintings in her own incomparable style, but it leaves one wanting to know more. This would be excellent as an introduction to the periods, but not as a definitive reference.
