Volume 7 takes us even deeper into the world of the Sisters Grimm. Beware the spoiler review below with the title "Good Read"! It's written by a kid who did not realize that some people reading the review have not yet read the book.

I ordered this book to read and get the latest released book from Michael Buckley. My students love his books and this way I could read the latest one while on summer vacation from school. I really enjoy how he has created fairy tale character mysteries and think more people should read the series.

I am a 4th grade teacher and I absolutely love the Sisters Grimm series. I love how the origional Fairy Tales are used.

My 1o year old daughter is completely in love with this series of books. Michael Buckly is a wonderful author that leads you through a terrific adventure!

Buckley does a great job bringing the reader into the world of the Everafters; however, this book was a bit disappointing.

Sabrina and Daphne's parents are awakened and the family discovers that there is a war - Everafters against Everafters (of the Scarlet Hand variety). All the Grimms must help battle against the Scarlet Hand, but at what cost?

When I began this series, I was under the impression that there would be 7 books; therefore, after 7 books everything would be wrapped up. While reading this book I was hoping things would come full circle, but Buckley creates another mystery with the characters. While this opens the door nicely for Book 8, it does not wrap Book 7 up in a nice package with its conclusion. It's as if the reader waits for the big reveal, it happens, and then the reader is left scratching his/her head.

I think all the Sisters Grimm books are very great!! They are awesome! I have not read any other book like this series. I have read them all. I read them over and over again. I can't wait for the next Sisters Grimm book to come out! I am almost 9 and I love them.

after reading the first book i was addicted. no one can top this! anyone ages 10 to 15 should try this one,its a keeper it keeps u one you toes and keeps u begging for more try it-i dare you

The Sisters Grimm series has kept my family entertained for several months of bedtime reading (not to mention book projects and reports). I found the first few books in a used bookstore and ordered the rest. Michael Buckley has creatively woven centuries-old fairy tales with 21st century reality and strong young heroines!! I would love to see these boooks become movies someday.

For two years, Sabrina Grimm has searched for a way to awaken her parents from an enchanted sleep - hoping that when they do wake up all will live happily ever after. But Sabrina of all people knows that fairy tales don't always end happily - she lives in Ferryport Landing which is filled with fairy tale characters. Ferryport Landing is under attack by the Master and his Henchman and it will take everything that Sabrina and her family have to help save Ferryport Landing. After living among fairy tale characters for so long Sabrina and her younger sister Daphne think that nothing can surprise them, but they are wrong - dead wrong.

"The Everafter War" is the exciting seventh book in Michael Buckley's excellent "The Sisters Grimm" children's fantasy series. Buckley kicks up the pace quite a bit with this book as there is now a full scale war in Ferryport Landing, which leads to many action packed scenes. As the series has progressed the characters have matured, most notably Sabrina and her sister Daphne, and the struggles of both to show adults that they aren't children any longer is very believable, as are the struggles of the adults around them to accept the fact that Sabrina and Daphne are indeed growing up. One of the things Buckley does so well in this series is to take beloved fairy tale characters and turn them upside down so you never quite know who to trust and he outdoes himself in this book with some twists that will shock readers. While the book is aimed at children, parents should be aware that while there isn't a lot of violence in the book, there is death, including the death of one character that may upset younger readers.

"The Everafter War" moves the plot of the series along quite a bit, but still ends on a (very funny) cliffhanger that will leave readers anxiously waiting for the next book in this enchanting series. Well done.

Sisters Grimm: The Everafter War is one of my favorite books in the series. It's very fast paced. You won't want to put it down! It has lots of the fairy tale characters we've gotten to know, plus some new ones.

This installment of the series finally answers most of the hanging questions the reader has...who's the leader of the Scarlet Hand is one of them!
