This package contains a DVD + an exclusive CD + a 16 page booklet with rare and previously unpublished documents and manuscripts and a new foreword by Ravi Shankar.
Presented by world music pioneers Yehudi Menuhin and Ravi Shankar, "From the Sitar to the Guitar" tells a story which started nearly a thousand years ago in Rajasthan, India, and culminates in the Spanish flamenco, during a historic event at the Cirque Royal in Brussels on 24 and 25 November 1995. "From the Sitar to the Guitar" features extraordinary and previously unreleased performances by Ravi Shankar, Blanca del Rey, Langas and Manghaniyars of Rajasthan, Ludovit Kováè, Trio Loyko and Abdelli.

For the first time on DVD: the complete 24 November 1995 concert (2hrs 20mins), interviews with the participating artists, vocal and instrumental demonstrations and rehearsal footage (approx. 50 mins of extras)
The CD features 78 minutes of unreleased highlights from the 25 November 1995 concert: alternate versions or songs that were not played on the 24th
In aid of the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation and the Ravi Shankar Foundation.
