Sitram has become our default brand of cookware, as they provide very high quality, functional cookware at reasonable prices, and this pot is no exception. With the thick aluminum disc bottom (1/4"), it heats very evenly, with no hot spots. The rest of the pot is heavy gauge stainless steel, and very sturdy. A real workhorse.
