excellent harsh electro/indstrial, April 30, 2009

This is great work in the vein of Tactical Sekt or Suicide Commando. That is, heavy martial beats are coupled with synth lines and melodies, and intense, distorted male vocals. Vigorous, harsh and pounding from the first song. Most of the songs are in German, with a just a couple in English.
I'm the first to admit there is nothing ground-breaking here. This music is NOT on the same level as Commando or Tactical Sect--any cd's by those guys get 5 Stars from me. But Schallfaktor isn't weak, either. The whole disc is full of solid dancefloor songs that would do well at a club, or blasting from your car as you completely disregard the speed limit.
Recommended for anyone who likes the above bands, or Agonoize, Virtual Embrace, Hocico, Grendel, etc.
