Biography

Rehab has been reborn and they're back with a vengeance!

The Atlanta-based quintet breaks new ground and addresses new challenges on its latest album, Graffiti the World. The collection is truly the work of combined contributions from each individual member of the band. "It's five people getting' together and trying to do the music that they want to hear," says front man Danny Alexander. "Everybody… Read more in Amazon's Rehab Store

1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS VERSION!!, August 6, 2008

Why? Because it is a rip off from Epic records. When Epic wouldn't re-sign the band, Rehab went to Universal Republic & as Danny B. A. put it "they welcomed us with open arms." That's when Epic repackaged the disc. Any Rehab fan knows why the song had to be "re-worked" from Sittin' at a bar to Bartender song.

So, DO NOT BUY THIS VERSION,(cartoon) if you do you'll be supporting the RIP OFFS! Buy the re-relesed Graffiti the World & catch this and 3 more new songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Classic album 8 years ago, June 18, 2008
This review is from: Sittin' at a Bar (Audio CD)
I first heard of Rehab back in 2000 when somebody did a cover of the song "Sittin at a Bar" and I had to find out who sang it b/c it was hot. So, I went out and purchased Rehab's "Southern Discomfort" album, which I thought was an instant classic and have been playing for the last 7+ years. My other favorite songs on this album are "Drinkin Problem", "It Don't Matter" "Hey Fred", "Storm Chaser", and "Rattle My Cage". If you like Sublime or Linkin Park, you'll definitely like Rehab.

The band broke up after this album, when Danny Boone and Brooks Buford had their "creative differences". Danny was the singer while Brooks was the rapper. Danny kept the band and the name while Brooks went on to do his own thing and I must say Rehab is not the same without them together. I've seen the new Rehab in concert a few times and while they still make good music, it's not like it used to be. It's too bad they couldn't work something out, b/c they were money as a tandem.

Do yourself a favor and don't buy this "new" album called Sittin at a Bar that's been remastered and edited and go find the original called "Southern Discomfort" with Brooks Buford on it. That's the real Rehab. If it's not on Amazon, go try ebay or something.

5.0 out of 5 stars if you like rehab, October 6, 2010

I have liked everything rehab has done. This album is from their earlier stuff and it is a little more raw than there more recent stuff, but if you are inthe mood for aggresive discontent and have reconciled yourself to happiness than give it a try>
