Situation was B-Side single released by Yaz(oo) in the early '80s and this mix, while weak in someways by today's standards of overdubbed club thumbing and tribal traditions, is a testament to the first generation of non-computer mixes when things were done old school with tape and signal. It is a good addition to the collection, especially for those without the Live at the BBC version which this remix was based on.

Yes, the first track is marginal, not too different. The last two tracks are pretty good. But track #2 (State Farm remix) is completely awesome--one of the most 'improved over the original' ever! It is why I'll always hold on to & cherish this hard to find single.

Vince Clarke and Alison Moyet were one of the most influential groups of the early 1980's. Their combined talents made one of the most unforgettable albums of all time, "Upstairs at Eric's".

Simply a must have album for any collector.
