This review is from: Six Billion Minds: Managing Outsourcing in the Global Knowledge Economy (Hardcover)
The authors are outsourcing experts in their fields. India leads the world in outsourcing now, and China is not far behind. Prediction for 2015: USA is actually #3 due to the fact the industries will learn that home shoring, i.e. give jobs to US citizens in S. Carolina, Alamaba, Arkansas... low wage states, will make more sense than outsourcing to India or China. Biggest problem of China, no English speaking. The book is made up of many chapters with different authors. The continuity is lost and too much theory on outsourcing, made it a poor reading.
Yet the experts(authors) used good data analysis to make their points. The book will be better if more practical examples were given.

A very good book. Outsourcing is here to stay and will change the way our economies do work. The book is based on a survey, highlighting the future best outsourcing locations.
