Book Description

T.G.I.S.
Thank God It's Sunday! It seems so easy to have God in our lives on Sunday. Whether it's a good sermon, a special occasion or just being with family and friends it seems easy to remember God on Sunday. But what about those other 313 days? The hustle and bustle of a busy work week, the family, the kids and the general rat race can get you down. Sometimes we forget that we have so much to be thankful for - the busy work week, the kids and the family!! When you think the cross you have been given is too heavy to bear; when you wish you could trade with someone else, just look up and say "God, could you carry this for me today?"

This book is the result of occasional to daily interaction with friends and loved ones from around the corner to around the world! When you work from home, you sometimes forget that there is an outside world. You forget there are reasons to get dressed in the morning. Your office welcomes you with open arms, even if you are wearing your p.j.'s and fuzzy slippers!

The following is a collection of poems, stories and verses that I have collected over the years. They have been printed in the same text, content, spelling and style that they were sent to me. They are raw and uncensored. I debated on making corrections, but decided to leave them the way they came.

This is a reminder to tell the ones you love everyday that YOU LOVE THEM. You never know when you will get the dreaded call that they are no longer with you. I learned that from a very dear friend I lost in 2004. Although we never had the good fortune of actually meeting, Arthur and I were best friends. Sadly, he was taken away too soon by cancer. We shared a saying on a wall hanging that his sister kindly returned to me on his passing. Work like you don't need the money, dance like no one is watching, love like you have never been hurt. It hangs above my desk with his picture. I read it and try to live by it every day. Some days are more difficult than others.

You will find several blank pages throughout the book. I have placed those for you to add your own special verse or favorite piece. I hope the following will bring a sense of joy, comfort, love and well being to your soul.

Here is the church
Here is the steeple
Open the door and see all the people

Close the doors
And hear them pray
Open the doors
And they all walk away

About the Author

Writer, wife, mother and entrepreneur, all describe Ann Browning. Browning can best be described as modern-day spiritual messenger and bestselling author of the ground breaking series of books entitled, “Six Days Till Sunday: Inspiration for the other 313 Days”. Born and raised in Galion, Ohio and after graduating from Galion High School, Browning enrolled at the Southeastern Academy Travel School in Florida. After feeling that she missed out on college life, Browning spent one semester at Ohio State University Mansfield. After realizing that she didn’t miss out on anything, Browning worked at several travel agencies before opening up her own. After staying open for several years, Browning closed her travel agency and went to Paramedic school. Browning worked as a paramedic for about 5 years and it’s where she met her soul mate and husband, Artie Miller. Even though it was not a planned event and much to the surprise of family and friends, Browning and Miller were married on 9/11. On September 11th of this year will mark their 18th year anniversary. On March 14th of 1998, Browning and Miller had a daughter named Lauren. After being married for several years, Browning went her entrepreneurial ways again by franchising a mailing center, which intern sold out to a larger chain store. Browning is credited for starting the first coffee house in her community and continued for about 3 years and then was sold. Browning continued to add entrepreneurial skills to her resume by starting a garden and gift center, which ran for 4years and sold the following year. As Browning continued to promote her husband’s real estate business, she opened a Property Preservation Company where she worked for Fannie Mae, Huntington, Chase, etc. Browning has successfully continued this business today, but always considers herself ready for a change. Six Days Till Sunday has sat unpublished and unorganized in Browning’s computer for several years. But, this past year Browning came up with the idea of sharing her collection of inspirational stories, poems, quotes and verses with family and friends. As a result, the final draft was delivered on December 20th 2010, just in time for Christmas. The book is designed to give the reader an extra little positive inspiration so they can make it through till tomorrow. Browning adds, “If we can all just remember that, Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday” we can make it through another day…Joy, Comfort and Love!”
