4.0 out of 5 stars Great to hold a lot of decks
Playing "Hand and Foot" with friends makes this gadget very handy. We use 5 decks and this keeps the cards really neat in their piles. Glad I got it. Sometimes it is hard to pick up the card but with practice, it should get easier.

3.0 out of 5 stars Card Holder
This is an inexpensive item that does what it's intended to. The axle for the rotation of the tray could be a tigher fit as the tray is tippy when only one side is full (for instance at the start of a card game).

Our card group of ten people play "President" which requires three decks and a large table. This unit makes it easy to pass the decks around the table to whoever's turn it is. I added a teflon furniture pad to the bottom and we can easily slide it from one end of the table to the other!

Only one of two places that I found on the internet that carry this item. Not in stores any more and they used to be everywhere. High quality material and fast shipping.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I was looking for!, February 16, 2008

Great product for playing hand-n-foot, a card game where you play with one more deck of cards than people. This device keeps the discard pile straight, so that your opponents can't see what has been discarded. And if you can't reach the draw pile, then turn the tray so it is closer.

COULD NOT USE THE HOLDER WITHOUT MODIFICATION AS IT WILL TIP AND NOT SWIVEL WITH CARDS IN ONE SIDE. i HAD TO BREAK THE SWIVEL BASE OFF AND BUY STICK ON FELT PADS TO ATTACH TO THE BASE.

This was nice but not what I was looking for, I was looking for one that would hold 6 decks on one side and the discards on the other.

2.0 out of 5 stars A card holder that tips too easily, January 31, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Six Deck Revolving Canasta Tray (Game)
We were hoping to be able to use this card holder to slide from person to person at a big table. The rotating mechanism has only three rubber bumpers on the bottom, so it tips too easily when you move it or even rotate it. Also, you must place cards EXACTLY SQUARELY in the tray or they catch on the sides and prop at an angle. It's a pain. We stopped using it already.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I needed, January 20, 2009
This review is from: Six Deck Revolving Canasta Tray (Game)
I play a game called "hand and foot" with several couples - end of with 6 or 8 players at a time which means using 6 decks of cards. the tray can hold all of the remaining cards, neatly contain the discards, and allow a card to be turned sideways if you happen to "burn" a wild card at the start of the discard pile. Didn't think I would like the rotation part but although we don't use it much we have a couple of times.
