Superb Television!, August 22, 2005
This review is from: Six Feet Under - The Complete First Three Seasons (DVD)
This is superb television with a talented cast portraying beautifully crafted characters with the help of excellent writing and direction. Enjoy this great television series for what it is - the extremely unnoticeable psychological stereotypes are way too insignificant to get hung up on...

misinformation about product, September 6, 2005
This review is from: Six Feet Under - The Complete First Three Seasons (DVD)
The "additional product information" area when clicked, describes the three box set accurately except for one important point. The format is listed as "widescreen". Unfortunately, the set I received has standard 4:3 aspect ratio for seasons one and two and the widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio only for season three.
If this is the only combination of formats available, it would be nice to note that in the product description.

yeah your right, they don't make it to be 100% to the "T" accurate...
it's suppose to be inaccurate, it's a sitcom. a t.v. show. UN-reality.
The show is sad, funny, happy, moving and disturbing all at once. No one wants to deal with a death of someone they know or love, this show is meant to open that avenue of how some deal with it...but exaggerated. It's not meant to be politically correct. It's meant to entertain, which it does quite well.
If your looking for reality and complete accuracy...American Idol is still running I heard :) I'll stick with what "shows" where started for to begin with, entertainment away from reality.
