I think this performance is just fine, but I guess Double Dead Redux is the way to go, must check that out as well.

The crowd looks alive enough, they're on fire when TNT goes off, and it's hard to move a sea of people anyway. When you're playing to thousands or tens of thousands, they can't all be expected to move anyway.

Chris Barnes has found a place somewhere between mastering death metal grunts and adding a "harsher" hardcore-like vocal style to it, but overall he has a very deep and commanding voice, and tops it off with a few awkward squeals here and there. It resonates really well, that's what I love about it. It's impressive.

If the band should be praised for anything, it's actually keeping the tempo down for a change - not all concerts have to be 300bpm for 90 minutes, and it makes the faster songs stand out more.

This isn't a long or very remarkable show, but I watched it before buying and really liked it. I recommend a look before purchase.

Ok, i dont have double dead but for a concert dvd i think this is better then what people say it is. This was my second purchase of six feet under back in 2005 ( my first SFU cd was Bringer of blood )...Bringer of Blood wasnt their best but its what got me into em...when i saw this DVD i was just blown away. I have been a huge fan ever since. For a non mainstream dvd this is pretty good...and you get to see Chris Barnes ( and the band ) up close and personal at a daylight time festival. The band makes a few small mistakes but they OWN in this performance. I have had two of the dvds and the second one the guitar seemed quieter in the mix ??? But overall its really good. They are so much better than Can Corpse. Cannibal Corpse are a band for 13 yr olds...all bluster. This band talks the talk and walks the walk live...and on studio cd. And no cheesy gory lame cartoon cd covers.

I felt ripped off when I got this in a music store. I thought it was going to be a live album (cd). but instead, its a concert dvd with a 6 song cd thrown in. but it was cool to see legendary death metal throat ripper chris barnes on stage. For all my years of listening to the life affirming advice of the great gut-rotted growlers, I have never seen one actually perform.

I received it a very timely manner as always. I am never disappointed wity Amazon.com

What can I say but this DVD is a real (no money put into it) piece of S#%T!!!!!!!!!!!

man, reviewer #1's review was on. i only bought this because i was in the front row of the actual show. metal concerts in germany are sedate, to say the least. germans are so passive, they get all freaked out over thrashing and moshing. band interaction with the audience was minimal and they seemed detached. it was a daytime show, so that took it's toll on the overall effect. i also second the motion that chris barnes says some stupid crap on stage. who was he catering to, war protesters? is that a contradiction? should we give peace a chance, and stop listening to torture killer? maybe he better cut back on the pipe he smokes. buy double dead instead.
