This review is from: Six Flute Concertos, Op. 10, in Full Score: With Related Concertos for Other Wind Instruments (Paperback)
Antonio Vivaldi has long been my favorite composer. I particularly love these 6 flute concertos, so when I found this edition at Borders some years ago for list price, I was ecstatic. I've since set myself to learning them on flute. The trouble is, the sellers here have jacked up the price on this book ridiculously high. The copyright date is only 2002. This is not a priceless antique or an heirloom, but it is a music lover's dream. Dover is a reputable publisher and I've bought editions of classical literature published by them, extremely inexpensive. There were some structural issues, however. The binding separated a few years in and the I have a torn page or two. Don't pay more than you have to for it. It's a wonderful score and well worth buying at list price or better.
