About the Author
Patricia Jepsen. From early childhood Patricia Jepsen was surrounded with the love of animals and considered all animals her friends. The gift of interspecies communication developed as her consciousness evolved to embrace all life as sacred.
For over twenty-five years, Ms. Jepsen has been active in the expanding spiritual and environmental movements as a writer, lecturer and seminar leader. She is founder and director of the Center for International Cooperation (CIC), a non-governmental organization that is affiliated with the United Nations. In 1989, CIC cosponsored one of the first global conferences to present indigenous wisdom as an earth-saving message. Currently, CIC is sponsoring an educational program that focuses on partnership with all life and communication with animals. This project is a result of the teachings realized in "Communication with Animals" classes that Ms. Jepsen held with Delphi, her eldest golden retriever, from 1997 to 1999.
Ms. Jepsen is a highly experienced presenter. She has been a professional actor and a teacher in the field of creative arts. She travels globally, speaking, holding seminars and workshops, and convening conferences. "Six Lessons with Delphi, How to Live Happily with All Life" serves as an educational pilot program in Tucson, Arizona, through restorative justice and supplementary character-building programs within schools and community-based youth groups.
Delphi. Delphi came to Pat Jepsen from a fine kennel in Virginia. She had been a show dog but was not happy about that profession. It must have been ordained, Delphi often thinks, because when she met Pat she knew she had found her spokesperson.
Since that time, Delphi has co-authored with Pat, "Delphi, What Being on Earth Is All About", written "Six Lessons with Delphi", and has been central to many workshops and classes. She is in the process of forming a school based on her teachings in "Six Lessons".
Delphis expectations are high. She wishes to reach the world with her vision of the circle of life. And, she confides, "I hope to seat myself at the United Nations where I can speak to everybody about partnership and a new earth!"
