This review is from: Six Seasons Remembered: The National Championship Years Of Tennessee Football (Hardcover)
This is a good book. It shows that Tennessee has a legitimate claim to 6 national championships. Each game of each one of those seasons are detailed via occurrences in the games and commentary from the players who played in the games. However, I would like to have seen in this book the fact that there were other seasons such as 1914, 1927, 1928, 1931, 1939, 1950, 1956, 1985, and 1989 that many believe the Volunteers deserved a national championship. All in all, this is a great read and a must have for any Volunteer fan.
