Editor Robert McEvily has brought together pieces from many different writers, each with his or her own take on the challenge: What can you say in six sentences? The results are fascinating, and the quality very, very high. The fat jostles the lean, the opulent sits down beside the understated, all human life is here - and then some. And if you don't like the one you're reading, you move on to the next - after all, it's only six sentences... A revelation and a joy.
