I've been searching for this book for quite a long time. When I was a child, this came everywhere with me. I took it to the doctor, to school, even to bed. The Lorax was my bedtime story every night. My mother finally got tired of hearing it and stopped reading it to me, so I read it to myself. Mulberry Street is the perfect story for a child with an enormous imagination, as is the Bartholomew Cubbins story. I moved many, many times and lost many, many books. By the time this one joined the ranks of the misplaced, both covers were missing, as well as half of The Grinch and the last bit of The Lorax. This will be my Christmas gift to myself and, when I have children, will become a bedtime book for a new generation!
