A Must for fans of Robert Palmer or Elkie Brooks, July 15, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Six Star Gypsies (Audio CD)
This CD is the highlights of two Vinegar Joe albums from the early 1970s, both featuring British MOR diva Elkie Brooks and Robert Palmer of Addicted To Love fame. It is a form of blue eyed soul that foreshadows Palmer's later solos "Sneakin Sally", "Pressure Drop" and "Some people." Good CD.

I seen this band many times in the seventies, and what a band !!! Elkie Brooks was just amazing, and that powerful voice, could never be considered M.O.R. This is an Album to own and enjoy.
