From School Library Journal
PreSchool-Grade 1-Two young mice use six Popsicle sticks to create many different things including "2 swings," "3 pairs of skis," and "1 mouse clubhouse!" The appealing collage illustrations are simple but effective and subtly show readers the advantages of working together. Children will be intrigued by the variety of the stick creations and will have fun predicting what the next one might be. This beginning reader could also be used effectively as a model for writing a math story or for designing a small-group math-challenge activity.
