Six White Horses is the best!!!!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Six White Horses (Paperback)
Six White Horses by Janet Dailey is one of the best romances I've ever read! It has passion, tenderness, misunderstandings, and most of all--the arguments that come along while trying to deny your attraction and love. It is an excellent novel if you have a fondness for someone who was in love with the other person for a long time without the other person having a clue, and covering it up with seemingly uncaring and harsh words. This is a relatively quick read and I always pick it up for a few hours respite. I have already read this book at least 6 times and will continue to do so in order to keep my spirits up about my own true love!!!

Janet Dailey disappoints in this book,

This review is from: Six White Horses (Janet Dailey Americana) (Kindle Edition)
I usually love Janet Dailey books because I'm a ranch girl in California but this heroine is just too stupid to belong to us. Maybe she can do tricks on horses (no big deal, really) but she is just dumb. There's no identification with her on my part and the story is a simple conflict of a bully and his target. I'm disappointed.

This review is from: Six White Horses (Janet Dailey Americana - Oklahoma, Book 36) (Paperback)
I like Janet Dailey's earlier books because she spends more time developing her characters. This book while a pleasant read, is not one of her better ones. The characters spend too much time trading barbs with each other and this became boring after a while. Any author can have a book that misses the mark and this maybe one of them.
