This CD was one of my favorites back in the early 90's. I really enjoyed listening to all of the tracks, especially "Miracles" and "I've Loved You Somewhere Before!" I wore my old album out and lost it a long time ago, so recently I purchased a used CD from Amazon.com. I really am glad that you'll had it because it was sooo hard to find in the record stores! I will also enjoy Stacey's music and hope to hear some new music by her. By the way whatever happened to her?

Very classic Stacy Lattisaw I liked the whole cd I like all of her albums that she had ever put out there she can really blow.
She is a lot better than Beyonce Knowles can you hear that Beyonce take some lessons from Stacy and maybe your work will get better with time I love stacy I listen to all of her albums all of the time and I keep her albums in my cd changer!!!!!

What more can I say in regards to this mega powerhouse of a voice. When I was younger, there was nothing like Stacy. No one could or even now can hold a candle to this young lady when it comes to blowing a ballard. Just turning 16, and having her first hit "Let me be your angel" at the tender age on 13, Stacy continued to provide to her fans a string of ballads and pop songs. Stacy knew how to sing a hit, so this album only compliments that ability. My favorite, and all the cuts on this album are good even the cheesy pop hits, were and is, Million Dollar Babe, Johey, And my two all time fav's Miracles with its strong lyrics and outstand vocals to "I've loved you somewhere before." That song is made to love and from the very first note "And I've loved you somewhere before, here in another time, a moment we forgot, and darling I - I've love you somewhere before and no matter where you go - where are I will end up finding you". to the last the girl is pure fire. Oh my God....Sing Stacy sing...and find your way back to us. This stuff is classic.

This was mighty good stuff by Stacey (who I saw perform some of these very songs at Mt. Pleasant SC's East Cooper Disco in 1985). It came out in 1983, one of the last good R&B albums on the edge of the "dark ages of Black music" when synthesizers and voice enhancers ruined the genre until very recent times. In either case, "Johey" and "Miracles" are really good ballads and show the breadth of young Stacey's talent. "Million Dollar Babe"'s beat sounds suspiciously like Hall and Oates' "Maneater," but it's still a pretty good song. At the used price, it's well worth it.

Stacy turns 16! This was an awesome LP, just wish I could find the CD in good condition! Songs like The Ways Of Love, Miracles, Johey, 16 were terrific songs. I rate this LP with 5 stars as I would anything by Stacy. To those who do not have this LP or Cd please get it. Even tho it's 21 years old, it's still great to listen to and just go back intime and remember when! This LP showcased the maturing side of Stacy. Her voice has always been strong, sharp and beautiful! Two Thumbs Up to the little girl with the angelic voice who made my teenage years the good years!

This is another one of my favorite Stacy albums. It's got a mixbag of upbeat dance songs and sweet, soulful ballads. Here's my review on this album:

1.) Sixteen: A cool, funky, upbeat song that's fun to listen to and a great way to start off the album.
2.) Black Pumps and Pink Lipstick: Cute, upbeat song with a good melody.
3.) I've Loved You Somewhere Before: This is one of my absolute favorite Stacy songs. She sounds so sweet and this song is absolutely soulful.
4.) Million Dollar Babe: Another one of my favorite Stacy songs. Cool, upbeat, and fun to dance to.
5.) What's So Hot 'Bout Bad Boys: Cutesy upbeat song about how Stacy dislikes bad boys.
6.) Johey: Another cutesy upbeat song about a boy that Stacy loves that moves away and how much she misses him.
7.) The Way of Love: Another one of my favorite songs off this album. Cute, upbeat, and nice to listen to.
8.) Miracles: One of my favorite Stacy ballads. It's so beautiful and soulful.

Once again, if you love Stacy Lattisaw, this album's for you!! Enjoy!!

i have been crazy about stacy lattisaw's music since her first album she has been my personal favorite her voice was very mature for her age her first album entitled stacy lattisaw was the bomb and she has continued to inspire me this year to date i am 41 years old and still loving her music much love from her #1 fan also known as lulu stacy you are the best i would like to know what she's doing now?
