This review is from: The Sixth Rider (A Double D Western) (Hardcover)
If your looking for a classic fun to read western than you have found just that in the "The Sixth Rider". Max McCoy has created a likable character in Samuel Dalton. Samuel is the supposed youngest brother of the Dalton family. Life for Samuel is as normal as any boy can have being born into the Dalton family, until he turns 13, than in the next four years, which this book covers very quickly, he experience every sort of western fun you can think of. This isn't a historically accurate book, nor is it a Western on the caliber of L'Amour , but it is a fun book to read
