About the Author

Jack Kiper was born in Tulsa. He attended Tulsa Public Schools and The University of Tulsa. He lives in Tulsa with his wife Glenda and their numerous grandchildren. Kiper is now at work on a personal history of TU basketball from the 1940s to the present.

There are several books about University of Tulsa football.But this book clearly stands out. The other books are written basically from sports department handouts. But this book is written by one who apparently knows Tulsa football from one who has personally seen the games since 1940. Superbly written!! All time great Tulsa games; all time all stars etc.
