My dad started giving me haircuts last year and the mess it made was always a problem. We tried using a makeshift cape made by cutting a hole in a garbage bag, but that didn't work and it was very uncomfortable. So, I eventually decided to buy a real cape. There are a lot of different capes here on Amazon and this is one of the more expensive ones. However, the size of the cape is what differentiates it from the others. Other capes on Amazon seem way too small compared to this one. This cape is large and covered my whole body when I was sitting in a chair (I'm 6'1''). It works perfectly. I'm also sure it will last a long time. So, if you want a barber cape from Amazon, get this one.

This is a great cape for haircuts. It's long enough for my height to cover my feet, and I'm 5'8". The snap closures close tightly, so you don't have to worry about them coming apart.

Nice strong, soft fabric. Big enough to keep my husband's clothes clean when I cut his hair. Very happy.

This cape is nice and long so no hair will get on your shirt, pants or shoes.

There are snap buttons on back, so no hair down your shirt or neck

A little tight fighting on neck but you have the option of not closing top button

Very good quality, not flimsy and easy to clean - best barbers cape for the price.

This cape was everything we were looking for. Extremely lighweight and breathable fabric. My wonderful wife has been cutting my hair forever and we have used towels and the plastic cape that came with the recently purchased clipper set. Very uncomfortable on the warmer days. My wife has even started wearing it when she touches up her here. Money well spent and will last for many years, if not forever.

I've started cutting my own hair (the old man's look) and this cape is great. Has a very soft feel, drapes really well, fits tight around the neck and is nice and large, really covers your body, including the shoulders. Little pricey compared to the cheap plastic ones, but really worth it.

Perfect hair cutting cape - large, thin nylon with numerous adjustable snaps at the neck. Should have purchased this a long time ago - my husband has been sweating under a plastic cape for several years when I cut his hair - no longer!! This cape can also be washed if necessary. Worth the money.

I bought one for my husband becuase he enjoys gettting hair cut from me. This product makes thing easier -- easy to use and easy to clean. Oh, I like the color (chocolate Brown) too! ^_^ Have a great day!

Works great for buzzing my boyfriends' hair. Hair falls off of it and keeps from going down his shirt. The fabric lets air through, which is nice. Snap closures will definitely last longer than other velcro models (are less itchy also). Also I like the brown. Haven't tried washing it yet.

The first one of these was defective. There were only snaps on one side, and nothing on the other to attach them too. Returning it also allowed me to get the black cheaper than the brown (it was originally more expensive). The second one is nice an roomy and seems to be of good quality. It will also make a nice cape for a Batman or Dracula costume at Halloween!
