5.0 out of 5 stars Do fit many brands
I have read many posts stating these do not fit "known" brands of onesies. This 10 pack comes with 5 different size snaps, 2 of each kind. The reason for the different size snaps, is because each companies uses different sizes. I have found snaps to work with Gymboree, Gap, Carters, Gerber, and Old Navy. 3.0 out of 5 stars Fairly pleased
I give this product 3 stars instead of five because it does not fit all brand onesie snaps. What I mean is it fits my Carter's brand onesies perfectly and I can now fit them around my cloth diapered chunky baby's legs perfectly but they do not work on the snaps of my Gerber onesies.

I'm so glad I discovered these. Both of my kids are tall for their age but their arms are average length. That means the onesie runs out of length before my kids out grow the arms. These really gives your baby onsies twice the use.

It's true the snap sizes aren't labeled but I solve that by just leaving the adjuster snapped to the shirt and throw it in the wash. If there is one in particular you use all the time just use permanent marker and label it yourself. I don't think this product deserves a low rating just because they are not size marked. It is fairly simple to eyeball the size and get the right one within two tries. I've been using these for a year now and have not come across a problem where they do not work.

Another tip to keep them organized is to snap the same ones together. This keeps them organized in the drawer so you don't have to go through the whole pile looking for the one you want.

I was on the fence about these for 9 months and finally caved. So happy!
There are 5 different sized snaps (2 of each) in each pack, so 10 in all. They all look the same but there really are 5 different sizes in each pack so don't get frustrated, I PROMISE they will more than likely fit MOST onesies/bodysuits you have. I think those that were dissatisfied didn't try all the snaps; they even work on the plastic snaps. So far, the only ones I have that they don't fit are Ed Hardy. ALL the other onesies/bodysuits I own, they fit. They fit Disney, Rocawear, Apple bottoms, Dereon, Baby phat, Blac label, DG Dollar general, Sesame street, Dwell studio, Janie & jack, LL bean, Old navy, Carters, Gerber, Calvin klein, Beverly Hills Polo club, Ralph Lauren, Faded glory, Garanimals, Nike, Circo, Small wonders...the list goes on!

My daughter is 10 months & thanks to these, can still fit 3-6 month bodysuits/onesies, and even some of her 0-3 month sizes! Plus I wash her clothes in Woolite dark, so her clothes still look new and I get a big bang for my buck!! The only small downside is that some of her onesies are too small without them and too big with them...go figure ; )

These extenders did not work. I bought these for my grandson and they did not fit any of the bodysuits that he had and the bodysuits were from different companys. The snaps were not compatible.

3.0 out of 5 stars One Step Ahead needs to label the 5 sizes of snaps!!!, March 9, 2010

It is logical to put size labels on clothing, shoes, etc. Otherwise, how would anyone differentiate easily between Small, Medium, Large or size 1, 2, 3, etc.

One Step Ahead needs to put a small label tag on the five different sizes of snaps, so us moms, dads, grandparents and caregivers can easily differentiate between them, as we usually have an array of different brands of onesies.

I just received my 10-pack of five-size snaps today. I randomly picked the smallest size, and it fit my Gerber 24-mth and Gap 18-24 mth size of onesies.

I will now have to test the remaining snap sizes on my other kids' clothing to see if they fit.

I agree with the other reviewer. This is a fantastic product and it would get 5 stars, if not for the lack of logical labelling.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the trouble, December 31, 2010

This is one of those products that SEEMS great in theory, but really isn't. There are only two types of each snap, so if you have a lot of a certain brand of onesies, they don't help much, unless you reuse them over and over without washing them (yuck). If you have only a couple of many different onesie brands, then maybe this is for you. They should color-code the different types of snap, because it's too hard to sort through them for the right one. I would suggest labeling them somehow so that you can match them up quickly. The quality of the product leaves something to be desired, too. Two of the snaps on one of the extenders broke of the first time I used it, and I didn't pull hard! For the same amount of money spent on the product, tax, and shipping, you could buy ten new onesies. I would say, save your money.

I can't differentiate between the 5 different snap styles. The extenders aren't labeled, so you'd have to try each one out and see which onesies they fit. Very disappointed.

I got these to try to extend the life of the Under The Nile kimono-style tops that I like so much...but they have little leg holes. Except for one extender where the snaps were obviously different, they all looked the same. But when I tried them, only one set fit the Under the Nile tops, so I guess they ARE different. I just keep them snapped to the top in the wash so they don't get mixed up. You could also label with a fabric pen. Overall, I really like being able to extend the life of my favorite clothing items.

These are really nice. My daughter is getting longer and longer, not out growing the size of the onsie but the length. These are nice for just that. Most of the different size snaps fit my onsies. I have accumulated different brands of onsies and they all seem to fit fine except there are 2 that come in this pack that have very large snaps. Those don't fit any of my onsies... I'm not sure what brand they will fit.? Great idea!
