Sizzix extended cutting pads are a needed accessory if your going to cut the Bigz dies as well as other dies that call for extended pads. I used the extended pads for cutting out a birthday pop up die and all the pieces cut out at once. Sizzix suggests you use the score pad with it and I did use it. The score lines are easy to fold using the score pad with the extended pads. What ever die you use will cut into the extended pads and it doesn't ruin the pads. The pads can be used for all the other cuts you make without replacing them.

for those of you who don't know this very much needed part that wears out over time with use and it very smart to have a few extra of this ready to go. also some cuts to not come with this and you need it.
