Book Description

The next installment of the bestselling MacKenzie Series…

A killer who taught her everything she knows…
A mission that pits her skills against his…
And a new partner that makes her body…Sizzle

When Declan MacKenzie asks Archer Ryan to do a special job for MacKenzie Security, Archer has no choice but to say yes. He owes Declan his life, and Declan more than has his hands full with his own family problems. Little does Archer know he’ll be chasing a would-be recruit all the way to hell and back. Or maybe Alaska just seems like hell.

Audrey Sharpe works for no one but herself. Not even when the most elite security company in the country wants her. She doesn’t have time to worry about MacKenzies. She’s racing against the clock to hunt down the man who taught her everything she knows and to stop him from killing more innocent people. When sexy, but tough as nails, Archer Ryan keeps getting in her way, Audrey has to decide whether he’ll be an asset or a distraction her body and mind can’t afford.

25 THINGS ABOUT ME!

1.) I have a Coke first thing every morning instead of coffee.

2.) I try to read at least one book a day (when I'm not on deadline), sometimes two or three if I have the itch. Reading is one of my greatest pleasures.

3.) I decided to be a writer my freshman year of college. Which, of course, is why I majored in music and art history.

4.) I started writing my first book when I was eighteen. It was about a 30-year-old virgin assassin. Yes, you read that right. It's buried in the far corner of my closet.

5.) I didn't complete my first book until I was twenty-five, but I've written nineteen books since then. I'm 32.

6.) I love being a writer. It gives me an excuse to think about different ways to kill people and to take weird vacations for the tax deductions.

7.) I could eat macaroni and cheese every day. I love it! But my hips do not.

8.) I'm very slow to make new friends. I'm a pretty solitary person, so when you see me at booksignings and conventions, I'm completely out of my comfort zone, which is why it's so nice when I have readers come up and talk to me like they already know me. It puts me at ease.

9.) My favorite cities are: New Orleans, Louisiana--Dublin, Ireland--Vevey, Switzerland--Napa Valley, California

10.) I like Milk Duds more than I probably should. I'm sure one day it'll catch up to me.

11.) I love to travel. I'm perfectly content to wake up on a random morning and say, I'm going here today." And then I'll buy a plane ticket and pack a suitcase. There are still so many places I'd love to see.

12.) I spent a summer in Ireland when I was in college with a random family I'd never met or spoken to before. It was one of the bravest and most adventurous things I've done. A great experience.

13.) I hated high school. If I could go back and do it over I'd try to graduate early and get the heck out of there.

14.) I have a weakness for fast cars.

15.) I performed at Carnegie Hall when I was in college, and toured Europe with a percussion ensemble one summer.

16.) I spent four years in college majoring in Percussion. It is now completely useless since I'm writing books full time, but it does give me an advantage when playing Rock Band.

17.) I'm addicted to gaming. When I take vacations between books, a good part of the time goes to playing RPGs.

18.) The cleanest place I've ever been is Switzerland.

19.) I don't gamble. When I go to Vegas I spend my time at concerts and shows.

20.) Purple is my favorite color. Go Frogs! (TCU alum)

21.) I love a good mystery.

22.) I've had impacted wisdom teeth for years, but I have no desire to get them taken out.

23.) The Keurig is the best invention known to man. I love my English breakfast tea.

24.) I like to sit down in the shower. I'll often stick my Kindle in a plastic bag and read in there for an hour.

25.) I spend a lot of time thinking of ways to kill people, and I have a tendency to zone out in the middle of a conversation if it's a really good idea.

I liked it, maybe not as much as other titles, but it's still Liliana Hart doing what she does best. The characters were good - I liked Audrey in particular, more than Archer, as I somehow found him a bit too blunt, even by Hart's standards. But I knew what I was getting when I bought the novel, and it didn't disappoint.

And I just want to get to Shane's story! I loved the insight into how he's coping and the Doc who'll certainly make him see things under a different light.

Can't wait for the next installment.

Liliana Hart delivers again! Suspenseful spy "cat and mouse" action, a smart and cunning villain, wonderful chemistry and humor between our hero and heroine (Archer and Audrey) and steamy love scenes make for another fantastic book in the continuation of the MacKenzie Security Series of Novels. The reader also gets brief glances into another character's life as his ongoing struggle with his current situation continues...making us anxious to read the conclusion of Shane's story!

Ms. Hart has an amazing ability to make the ready feel a part of this wonderful family she has created. The best way to enjoy these books is in chronological order. I definitely recommend the entire series.

Audrey was a Mossad agent but left after she was captured and tortured, she joined the CIA after coming to America. Three years ago she was shot in her chest 3 times by her partner. Now she's hunting him down to get her revenge. Archer was former CIA now working for MacKenzie security. He's to bring her in but she is on the trail if her former partner. They team together to bring him down.
Funny, fast paced, sexy book. Loved it!!!!

Another hit! I love the family and the characters, alpha males as advertised along with strong women who are a match for them. I was looking for Shane's story and we see some of his struggle but not enough. I am not a patient person and waiting until next March doesn't sit well.

Archer is sent to recruit an agent into Mackenzie Security. Audrey has been wounded, tortured, betrayed and determined not stable enough to continue working for her country. Declan MacKenzie disagrees and wants her for their team. Archer sees past her scars and helps her hunt for her betrayer and a worldwide enemy. They have to fight a worthy adversary, Russians and the colds of Alaska to find their love when trust is so hard for her to give.

I would have liked to see how his daughter would be brought into their world together as she is important to him. Other than that and more of Shane's story I loved it.

I downloaded this book through Kindle Unlimited. I really liked this book! The story line was different and the entire story had a very unique feel from the other books in the MacKenzie Family Series. Both of the main characters were strong, lost souls - Archer and Audrey were great together! There was action, great chemistry and hot sex scenes! This was a very quick read for me and I can't wait to read more in this series!

I loved reading 'Sizzle!' The Mackenzie's Series has been progressively getting better with every new book. And that's impressive, since it was pretty amazing to begin with. Archer and Audrey were wonderfully written characters. Theirs is a story I couldn't put down! And reading more up on my boy, Shane, was an added bonus. I'm glad he wasn't forgotten. I can't wait to read the next installment in 'The Mackenzie Series.'

A well written unrealistic novel. Why didn't he shoot her in the head? The worlds greatest assassin obviously needs to watch the Sopranos on how to complete a hit. I imagine everyone travels in time machines to get across the globe in time to prepare for the trap. End of the world or top of the world Ma!

The strong men and women that occupy the world of intrigue that Ms. Hart has created are always exciting and Sizzle is no exception. Betrayal of the very worst kind drives her herione while admiration drives our hero to aid then love her. Great read. Action packed and steamy. Highly recommend.
