Received the Work bench and cupboard assembly in 3 separate boxes. Everything was well packaged and was in good condition. There were no broken or missing parts. Assembly went well and took about 4-5 hours (I'm not a speed demon). I was impressed with the quality of the finished product. All surfaces were sanded smooth and all mortises and tenons were pre-cut and fit like a glove. The few holes for necessary bolts and screws are also pre-drilled. The only thing lacking are text instructions. As noted in other reviews, instructions are somewhat vague but with a little patience and layout of all materials, the average person can figure it out. Drawings provided are helpful but not detailed enough so you need to be a little intuitive. If you can use an erector set, you can put this bench together. Everything fit perfectly and when finished, the 2 vises closed evenly and smoothly, with a minimum of cranking. A pleasant surprise are the included bench dogs and bench clamp. A special note: If you buy the cupboard assembly, you will not need the 2 long support rails that are for the front and rear of the bottom shelf. Also, the bottom shelf becomes the back for the cupboard. This is not explained in the instructions so if you purchase the cupboard, keep this in mind. The 2 un-needed rails can be used for other projects. The top is well finished and the bench is quite sturdy. Although it is probably not for the pro, I believe the average home wood-worker would benefit from this addition to his/her shop. In reading one other review, I noted someone used the small tube of glue to join the morises and tenons. This is not necessary or meant to be. The glue is to fasten the knob for the wood crank after you install it to the vise. Overall, a great product and a great buy. Happy wood working.

On my workbench the straight rails that form the frame for this kit have warped over the past two years, twisting about 10-15 degrees so that the sliding doors are no longer held in place. Also the drawers and sliding doors are rather flimsy.

I had bought the Accessory Drawer and Cupboard along with the Sjobergs full size jointer workbench. Was a little pain to put together (the drawers were easier), but once together it is very heavy. Fits alot of things in the cupboard. I'm glad I had bought this.

I've owned this bench for about 10 years now. It has seen many projects and has always done a more than adequate job. I have had to rework the cupboard over the years - stiffening the bottom and reinforcing the shelves. I have also customized mine adding pegs to hang clamps and saws and adding two stationary rollers mounted vertically at one end to facilitate moving it. I also recommend regularly cleaning and waxing the clamp guides, jack screws and drawer slides to keep it operating smoothly. All in all a good investment.

Did not expect so much MDF in a Swedish workbench and was a little disappointed by the how the drawers were assembled. The red edging in the photos (mine were grey) are actually plastic clips that hold the drawers together. Concerned about how well these construction methods will hold up. Figured out from another review not to assemble bench until this unit arrived (they shipped separately), would have to agree as this replaces some parts.

I bought the SJ1200 with the cabinet accessory. It took about 3 hours to assemble and every piece fit perfectly. I added 4-2in. casters so I can move it around easily. Great for the home workshop. It took me about 45 minutes to figure out how things go together, after that it was a snap. The drawers were very easy to assemble much to my suprise and satisfaction. The assembly instructions consisted of 3 sets of drawings and parts list. The drawings were a little bit confusing and some written instructions would really help but if you study them closely they will get the job done. The quality is excellent and the price was about 1/3 less than other comparable units I looked at. The warranty covers any material defects for 10 years so I look foreward to many years of use.

This was a present so I can't complain too much. I don't want to hurt the givers feelings.

Man! All I can say is Sjobergs, lose the Particle Board! I'd pay whatever it takes to get at least plywood. I'm going to customize and build my own plywood drawer bottoms, leg supports and table back. No more Sjobergs for me!
