Ska-ba, the band's first effort, introduces band leader Joey Altruda and company's amazing talent. The band exhibits their precise sound on such originals as the funky "El Diablo Ska" and the swinging "Calling Dr. Greenbud." Following ska’s ongoing tradition of paying respect to its roots, they also bust loose on several classics, even recording a Skatalites cover for the title track. The band pays respect to roots of a different sort with another cover--the theme song to the old television series Green Acres.

From "Storm Warning" to "Green Acres", this CD is jam packed with jazz, latin, and ska. Although there are not many lyrics, the groove of the songs is excellent!! This CD is a definite recommend for any fans of ska, latin or jazz music!!!
