This Watch is amazing to look at and compare to any other watch.
I have a Bulova M7 Tank(1967 w/Diamonds), Swiss Army S.S. Calvary White Face(1994) and a typical Timex Expedition(Great value and looks)for work, but none can compare to the looks and craftsmanship that went into this watch. The hands match with the markers perfectly, the band is perfect in every detail and the Watch itself with it's Brushed Stainless Steel Case, White Face and Stainless Steel Markers with a Polished Stainless Steel Crown is Awesome to look at and see. I've had this watch now for 6 months. I got it as a Christmas gift and it keeps excellent time; it gains about 3-4 sec./month which is about as accurate you can expect in this price range. The design is simple and elegant, and it's a great every day watch.

The only downside is the band. While it does fit okay, what I don't like is it's 'fixed' design at the watch base. Instead of simple springs that attach the band to the watch like most watches, Skagen uses a metal reinforced insert in the band near the watch mount points that screws in the back of the case/ band. It makes the band not flex at all within a centimeter of the watch, which makes the fit on the wrist so-so. It doesn't flex with the contours of the wrist well. The strap is also rather stiff; some leather conditioner does help make it more flexible.

Otherwise, it's a good watch even with the strange band design.

This is a fine watch but I noticed a few drawbacks:

The date dial is so so tiny, you almost have to squint to see the date. I've never been able to just take a quick look at the date and read the number without staring at it for a number of seconds.

Secondly, for some reason it pinches the hair on my wrist fairly easily.

On the positive end, very nice leather band and light weight with a very slim 6mm case thickness which is rarely found.

The watch is everything that was advertised. The face is large, clear, easy to read. The band is more stiff than others due to the fasteners, but I didn't find it to be a problem or to be uncomfortable and I consider myself to have small wrists. The materials on the face are more silvery than steel in color and its luminescence is strong and even so both hands are clear. My only criticism is that the three ancillary dials for day of the week, date and 24 hour clock are too small to be seen in the dark and the date is still tough to see in daylight. Overall, great watch, happy to have purchased it.

Well made, nice looking watch. The band on mine was darker than in the photo, but it looks good. Very lightwieght as well.

I bought this watch because I was tired of my stainless steel Citizen which heavy and looks very "common". I wanted a watch that expresses simplicity, elegance, and a sense of style at a low price. I shopped for a long time online and in stores and found the Skagen watches to be the best value. I am thrilled with this watch and challenge you to find anything else on the market that matches its quality at double this price !

I love the look and feel of this watch. I hate the fact that the crystal broke within 3 months from a bump while I was wearing it. The design causes the glass to protrude out and become a target for knocks. It is also very thin and therefore fragile. Wear it with care. BTW, the repair shop charged only $40 to replace it but it should not have been broken to begin with.

I ordered this Skagen Chronograph, because I wanted a flat Chrono-watch with a leather strap. Since I'm wearing the watch for two weeks, I still like it and to me the price seemed cheap for the quality of the product.

I have been looking for a new business watch for the past few months, and specifically wanted a watch that was thinner than the sports-style watches I already own. I also wanted multi-dials and a leather strap, and this watch immediately caught my eye. I bought this watch about 2 months ago and have been completely happy with it. It has exactly the look I wanted, and it's so light on my wrist that I sometimes forget I'm wearing it.

A few things to be aware of:
1. The watch may not be completely comfortable for someone with large wrists - the band does not move up and down where it attaches to the watch, so it doesn't lay flat. For a smaller wrist it's a good fit.

2. Given the leather strap and in light of other things I have read on the subject I am careful to keep the watch away from water. Day-to-day is fine, but I wouldn't wear it swimming, sailing, in the shower etc. Common sense, but still a consideration.

So if you're looking for a handsome, high-quality business-wear watch at a reasonable price you should definitely consider this watch or one of the similar Skagen designs.

I love Skagen watches. This watch is no exception. Good construction, great quality of materials, and really nice leather in the band. It looks great and has a large face (for those of us over 40). The one gripe I have is that the design of the leather band's connection to the watch case does not allow the watch band to lay flat on my wrist. Maybe I have a larger, flatter wrist but this raises the watch off of my skin to the point that this watch fits better when it is sitting on the inside of my wrist - around the curve.

This is NOT a fatal flaw, just an annoyance. Otherwise it is a great watch.
