The watch is gorgeous. I feel it necessary to make note of something as I did in another review of a Skagen watch. I knew what I was getting before I purchased this item, but would like to point out to those who are not familiar with these watches that this watch is not a chronograph. At first glance it would appear that this watch is a chronograph - a regular watch with stop watch function dials. This watch is not. Instead the dials are the date (far right) the day (far left) and 24 hour dial at the bottom. With that said, I really do like this watch. One last note...to those who consistently give other Skagens bad reviews. They all come with LIFETIME warranties. If you are having a problem contact the manufacturer....and keep doing so until YOU are satisfied.

The watch is great! Three notes:
1. The steel of the watch has more shine than the picture. If you enlarge the image and look at the bottom of the face where the band attaches--that's what the shine is like, not the dullness of the steel at the 12 o'clock position.
2. When held at a certain angle, an subtle and elegant grain from 12 to 6 can be noticed in the brown metal of the face.
3. The tics for each hour, as well as the hour and minute hands, have the glow-in-the-dark material. It is unnoticeable in the light and blends perfectly, but in the dark it makes it easy to see the time.

An excellent watch, the box it comes in is great, too.

this watch was not available in europe (I'm from Germany) and it is a wonderful mens toy. Easy to handle! Very good looking! I love it!

I love this watch for its elegant looks, overall performance and affordability. This my favorite among the eight different timepieces I keep as part of my wardrobe. It looks way more expensive than it actually does, so it matches well with my business attires. The rich brown hue it comes in is eye catching and has elicited many a compliments. This watch is a definite welcome salve for the "recession blues" ...feeling expensive at a bargain. Bravo, SKAGEN.

I really like the watch as I am a fan of the slim style. All has been good with it. The band is a little tough but has softened up by now (a few weeks later). The reason I rate it a 4 is because (a) the pictures are a little misleading on the colors of the watch - the tone of it's brownish background makes it a little restrictive in wearing with certain clothes. (b) the multi-function dials are not that practical because they tend to be covered by the hour and minutes arms alot.

such a superb watch for the price.... leather is great and the color is so unique. It can even be worn by women with big wrists. skagen really produces elegant watches. Recommended for all of you peeps!

The band is more textured in reality, and therefore not as minimalist as it looks here. It is also stiffer than one would expect. It is important to note that this isn't Skagen's usual soft-ish genuine leather strap.
Other than that, the boyfriend found it okay and liked it.

This is a very nice looking watch (even if I personally think that the dial diameter is a bit large). Date adjustment mechanics wasn't very intuitive and initially I gave it 3 stars but now thanks to a helpful comment I managed to set date manually and hence I update the review to 4 stars. (not 5 due to 2 reasons, first as mentioned above dial is not as small as I imagined [perhaps too subjective] second, the crown sometimes leaves a mark on my hand if I move my wrist up since it's directly facing the back of the hand. A more clever designed would have been to put the crown closer to straps.
